Dianne Smith and Zoe

This Irish Wolfhound has a heart as big as she is! She never tires of being petted by 'her' wounded soldiers. Raised with a Yorkie, Zoe has no idea how big she is, as she gently leans her head against her patients to give a big hug. She is quite the show-stopper. With all eyes on her, jaws drop and smiles appear. On her first day at The Fisher House, Zoe brought a smile and a tiny tear to the eyes of one special soldier who hadn't had a lot to smile about in a very long time. If she does nothing else the rest of her life, this was enough.

Zoe is a gentle giant. She is loving, gentle and great fun for the wounded soldiers, bringing moments where they can escape the horrors of war.
